AGRIGOLD'S 2027 LINEUP BRINGS DIVERSE GENETICS, BIG YIELD POTENTIAL TO CORN BELT FARMERS
Key points:
- AgriGold’s 2027 seed lineup is shaped by farmer feedback, diverse genetics and local testing.
- The 2027 corn class includes 23 new products with a 9.3-bushel-per-acre advantage over commercial checks.
- AgriGold is also expanding its soybean portfolio with 29 new products and first-time access to Voltis™ Enlist E3® soybeans.
AgriGold’s farmer-first approach shapes every corn and soybean seed product it brings to market. The 2027 lineup reflects that strategy, combining farmer feedback, diverse genetics and local testing to deliver products farmers can trust in their fields.
“We have a unique business model focused on matching farmers and dealers with the right seed for their operations,” says Steve Schany, AgriGold portfolio advisor. “AgriGold is backed by GDM’s world-class corn and soybean breeding programs. That gives us the ability to deliver corn and soybean seed that’s the best fit for our customers’ acres.”
New corn seed options shaped by genetic diversity and farmer feedback
To help farmers solve problems and push yields, AgriGold is bringing 23 new corn seed products to market in 2027, boasting a 9.3-bushel-an-acre advantage over the brand’s commercial checks.
The new class offers exceptional genetic diversity — more than Schany has seen in his career — giving farmers more options to reduce crop stress and manage risk.
“ Tar spot, southern rust and stalk rots have plagued acres. Our research, product and agronomy teams collaborate closely to ensure we’re giving farmers the high-yielding genetics and plant health they need to make progress year after year,” Schany says.
“We’re serious about making sure we bring value to our customers,” says Bethany Grabow, senior product development manager with GDM. “That’s why there’s a complete feedback loop from the farmers to the field agronomists to the product development team and into our breeding program, helping us understand how our products are performing in the field and what farmers need us to deliver.”
Rising demand for full-season corn hybrids that deliver high yields
From north to south across AgriGold’s Midwest territory, farmers are seeking fuller-season hybrids, Schany explains. A few fuller-season standouts from the new class that deliver on yield and agronomics include:
- A647-09 is a 117-day relative maturity (RM) that will be offered in both VT Double PRO® (VT2PRO) and SmartStax® PRO trait technologies. A versatile and reliable product, it provides great foliar disease tolerance that allows it to maximize yield potential late into the season and deliver great test weight.
- A644-98VT2RIB brings a stalk health upgrade to this maturity and has the versatility to become a powerhouse. The 114-day RM is built for offensive yield environments but offers great tolerance against tough-to-control diseases like southern rust and stalk rots.
Belowground protection for corn rootworm
Farmers are also asking for more belowground trait protection, and AgriGold is responding with products featuring the new VT4PRO™ technology like the following.
- A643-74VT4RIB is a 113-day RM product that pairs outstanding genetics with VT4PRO technology, a trait designed to help manage low to moderate corn rootworm pressure. It offers versatility and strong yield potential.
Growing interest in conventional seed
With farmers facing strained budgets and/or looking to sell into premium markets, demand for conventional seed products is also climbing, Schany says. “AgriGold has a robust corn and soybean portfolio in conventional.”
One conventional — A640-24 — has fared particularly well. Since its 2024 debut in 2024, the 110-day RM has been quietly building a reputation as a high-performing hybrid in the conventional market.

Farmers will love the plant health, test weight and versatility A640-24 brings to their acres.
AgriGold will expand its use in 2027, adding the VT2PRO trait. Farmers will love the plant health, test weight and versatility of A640-24VT2RIB.
Building AgriGold’s soybean prowess
Backing by GDM gives AgriGold a direct line to a proprietary soybean breeding program and testing network — a first for the brand. AgriGold customers will also gain access to Voltis™ soybeans — a brand of top-performing Enlist E3® soybeans at a competitive price point — for the first time in 2027.
That expanded access is evident in AgriGold’s 2027 lineup. The seed brand is bringing 29 new soybean products to market for the 2027 growing season. A few standouts include the following.
- V2677E (2.6 maturity) brings together outstanding agronomics and yield potential. This variety establishes a strong stand early in the season and is a great choice for acres in need of white mold protection.
- V2917E (2.9 maturity) is an early front runner for elite performance that thrives on productive, well-drained soils. Bringing Peking-based genetic resistance to soybean cyst nematode (SCN) to late group 2s, this product also offers strong sudden death syndrome (SDS) and white mold tolerance.
- V3197E (3.1 maturity) is a medium-tall line that brings Peking genetic resistance to SCN to group 3s. Testing has proven this soybean to be a reliable, agronomically strong and high-yielding option across yield environments.
- V3787E (3.7 maturity) can handle just about any yield environment and delivers outstanding plant health all season long. It also features the Peking source of SCN resistance.
- V4037E (4.0 maturity) has shown strong performance in its maturity grouping. Impressive SDS scores and phytophthora field tolerance make it a great choice for poorly drained soils and wet conditions.
“Farmer feedback is a gift, and it’s one we use through every step of product selection process,” Schany says. “That’s why we’re able to deliver a versatile and competitive portfolio of corn and soybean seed products that meets their agronomic needs.”
