Steve was raised on a farm in Macon County, Illinois. Steve’s family owned and operated retail chemical and seed facility on the family farm for 38 years. After graduating the University of Illinois, Steve joined the family business. After the sale of the family business, Steve worked for Pioneer as DSM for 4 years in Mclean County, Illinois. Monsanto moved Steve and his 3 sons to Columbus where he resides today to be an area business manager for the Channel brand.
Steve has a passion for people, development and training. Often you will hear Steve say “selling seed is hard….but we can help make it easier with good training”.
When not chasing the sales numbers, Steve enjoys golf and college football.
The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things!
Whitney is a self-proclaimed plant nerd. Lover of Agriculture and an advocate for women and youth in Agriculture. Whitney grew up on a small hobby farm in Central Kentucky. It was here that her passion for agriculture and rural communities blossomed. She holds an MS in Integrated Plant and Soil Science from the University of Kentucky, a BS in Agriculture, and a BA in Communication Studies from Western Kentucky University.
For the last seven years, Whitney has served farmers in the field through a multitude of Agronomic roles in Iowa, Indiana, and Kentucky. Using a ‘boots on the ground’ perspective she is responsible for supporting the AgriGold Agronomy organization in meeting goals and delivering the highest quality agronomic service at the farm gate.
Yield, consistency, standability and return on investment will always be the backbone of what products and recommendations the Agronomy Team provide our growers.
John was introduced to agriculture on his family’s farm near Kenton, Ohio. There he learned the value of work and the understanding that a farmer is only the tenant for a short time and must make the most of their efforts. He graduated from The Ohio State University in Agronomy. He started working at a retail fertilizer outlet before joining AgriGold. John started with AgriGold in 2000 as a Regional Agronomist. He has spent almost 20 years building relationships and sharpening his agronomist knowledge in the field throughout Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
As the Eastern Agronomy Manager, he is responsible for the development and training of the agronomy team East of the Mississippi river. John is dedicated in helping provide our customers with the best genetics and agronomic knowledge for their farm.
Spray your pre’s when the forsythia bush blooms. Plant when the hedge tree leaves are the size of a squirrel’s ear & love each other no matter what!
Dustin grew up on a family farm consisting of corn, soybean, beef and dairy cattle near Chillicothe, MO. He developed a love for corn genetics and breeding at the young age of 14 when he started doing seasonal work for the local Pioneer Hi-Bred research station. Dustin graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in Agronomy in 2004. After college Dustin worked in the Ag Retail industry, conducting seed, chemical, fertilizer, and precision ag sales. He joined the AgriGold team in 2011 as the agronomist for Missouri, Kansas, and Southern Iowa.
In his current role as Western Agronomy Manager, Dustin works with our agronomy team, sales force, and customers West of the Mississippi river in the areas of agronomic training and product selection of our corn and soybean lineups. Other than his passion for all things agriculture, Dustin enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters on their family farm.

Emily grew up on a corn, soybean, and cattle farm in Greensburg, IN. She attended Purdue University where she was very involved in extracurricular activities like College of Agriculture Ambassadors and served as the College of Agriculture Senator on Purdue Student Government. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics.
Prior to joining AgriGold, Emily earned 11 years of field sales and management experience in multi-channel seed and crop protection business units. Most recently, she spent nine years with Bayer (formerly Monsanto) working specifically with the Channel brand to drive sales while helping to build sustainable brand footprints and a customer experience focused on service and integrity. During her time with Monsanto, Emily made extraordinary contributions to grow sales, recruit, and strengthen customer relationships. Due to her contributions and outstanding achievements, she was awarded the 2016 Monsanto Master Sales Award as well as the 2017 Monsanto Team Game Changer Award.
In her current role as the Eastern Division Sales Lead, Emily holds responsibility for all sales efforts and personnel East of the Mississippi River. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and keeping up with her children.

Jeremy developed his love for agriculture while growing up on the family farm in northeast North Dakota. Involved in the seed business for over 20 years – Jeremy has had roles in retail sales, production management, marketing, sales management, digital ag and licensing. As the sales lead for the AgriGold team West of the Mississippi, Jeremy’s goal is to continue to deliver a best-in-class seed brand experience to strategic partners and farmer customers. This is accomplished with a people first culture and a commitment to constant innovation in all functions of the business.
Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree in Crop and Weed Science from North Dakota State University, a M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Jeremy and his wife Brooke have a young family and reside in Fargo, North Dakota.

Jarad grew up just north of the sales office in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He graduated from Eastern Illinois with a degree in Finance and then later attended Oakland City University where he received his M.B.A. Jarad began his career with AgriGold as a production employee for 6 years during his time in high school and college and after graduating spent 8 years as AgriGold’s Inventory & Budget Analyst, 3 more years as the Systems Specialist and now finally Business Manager.
The Customer Team is responsible for collaborating, partnering and creating a WORLD-CLASS customer experience. Working directly with internal and external customers on everything from logistics, customer billing and online tool implementation, our team is constantly searching for ways to assist.
